What's on your table?

This time of year always has us thinking about placemats!

We pulled out a colorway from a Kahuna Batiks Strip pack and made these summer mats, which makes us wanna say aloha!

For this next set, we paired a burlap texture line with a grey quatrefoil print and made a matching hot pad.

Do you see placemats for round tables in stores often? Well, neither do we! So Aunt Henri designed and wrote our own! This is an easy to follow pattern and a versatile project. Use quilting cotton, duck cloth, canvas, decorator weight, or denim. You can even laminate to make washable and outdoor mats!

These were made from cotton ticking and we added a denim silverware pocket.

See more of our placemats below! Backing with cotton duck or denim makes a fun reversible option.

Purchase the Aunt Henri Round Table Placemat Pattern in our Etsy Shop.

We'd love to see your finished placemats made with our pattern! Tag us on social media @aunthenri and we'll share your creations.

'Till next time,

J.
